Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep shock and sorrow over electrocution of seven labourers in Muzaffargarh on Saturday.

Sympathizing with the members of the bereaved families, he announced a cash compensation of one million rupees to the heirs of each deceased.

It may be added that these workers were electrocuted while welding a gas pipeline in Turkish Colony being built for flood-affected people in the district.
