Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee has reaffirmed the national resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country.

Pakistan International Airlines will soon start special flights for Gilgit and Skardu to promote tourism in northern areas.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC ) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat has said Pakistan is fully aware of the designs of hostile agencies especially RAW against the country.

Addressing passing out parade of cadets at Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi today, he said the Indian intelligence agency is operating from Afghanistan to stoke unrest and instability in the country and sabotage the multi billion dollars CPEC project.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee said we are committed to tackle these threats through synergetic efforts. He categorically stated that the country is capable to beat back the designs of the enemies.

General Zubair said Pakistan is vital to regional solutions. Attempts to coerce and isolate it have failed in the past and also meet the same fate in future.

He said Pakistan seeks peaceful coexistence with all its neighbours. Peace and stability in Afghanistan is fundamental to peace in Pakistan.    About anti-terror operations, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee said Pakistan is determined to wipe out the curse of terrorism. Referring to the role of Pakistan Navy, General Zubair said the nation is proud of its sea defenders, which has played pivotal role in the defence of the country and anti-terror and anti-piracy operations.

Sakardu with an aim to promote tourism in northern areas.

Talking to Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman in Islamabad, he said these special flights will not only strength economy of the country but also present soft image of Pakistan as they will be decorated with different literary and cultural artifacts of Pakistan.   The Advisor said all possible measures will be taken to promote tourism in hilly areas.

Construction work on Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla Motorway has been expedited on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.Official sources told Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent Matiullah said the project will be completed at a cost of one hundred and forty-two billion rupees by the end of next year.Two hundred and eighty-five kilometers long Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla Motorway, which is part of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, will boost trade and business activities in the country.
