Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat has said Pakistan is fully aware of the designs of hostile agencies, especially RAW, against the country. Addressing the passing out parade of cadets at Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi on Saturday, he said Indian intelligence is operating from Afghanistan to stoke unrest and instability in the country and sabotage the multi-billion dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee said we are committed to tackle these threats through synergetic efforts. He categorically stated that the country is capable to beat back the designs of enemies. General Zubair said role of Pakistan is vital to regional solutions. Attempts to coerce and isolate it have failed in the past and will also meet the same fate in future, he added. He said Pakistan seeks peaceful coexistence with all its neighbors. The CJCSC said peace and stability in Afghanistan is fundamental to peace in Pakistan. About anti-terror operations, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee said Pakistan is determined to wipe out the curse of terrorism.

Party is united under leadership of Nawaz Sharif: PML-N leaders

PML-N leaders say those demanding resignation of Prime Minister should first read the Joint Investigation Team report. This was stated by Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Tariq Fazal Chaudhary while addressing a news conference along with MNA Daniyal Aziz in Islamabad on Saturday. He said that PML-N is united under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said the jurisdiction of JIT was to investigate the ownership of London Flats but it worked beyond its ambit and started investigation against the Sharif family. He said that JIT could not find even a single example of corruption during the last thirty-five year political career of the Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif when they were holding the public offices.
