Pakistan supports UNSC's resolution on Yemen: Rashid
Information Minister says hearts of the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia beat together.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says Saudi Arabia has always helped Pakistan in hour of need and we will stand shoulder to shoulder to our benefactor if need arises.
Talking to media in Islamabad this evening, he said Pakistan is very much aware of its responsibilities and is ready to fulfil them.
Pervaiz Rashid said Pakistan supports UN Security Council's resolution on Yemen and respects decision of the international community.
He said hearts of the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia beat together.
To a question, Information Minister said all political parties are united on national issues and parliament's unanimous resolution is reflective of this fact.
He said we have strong relations with Saudi Arabia and exchange of delegations between the two countries is a routine matter.
He said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is visiting Saudi Arabia these days, which indicates that we are in contact with the Kingdom.
To another question, he said the upcoming visit of Chinese president to Pakistan will usher in a new era of progress and development in the region. He said new mega projects would be launched with Chinese cooperation, which will create more jobs in the country.
Answering a question, he said PTI should now present evidences of rigging it has been leveling against former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, former caretaker chief minister of Punjab Najam Sethi, and Geo TV before the Judicial Commission.
