Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said Government is paying special attention towards the development of Lyari, the old and remotest area of the city.

Addressing at a press conference in Karachi, he said rupees three billion are being spent to insure the provision of basic facilities to the people living there.

Chief Minister said around two hundred schools have been improved, whereas special attention is being paid to improve the infrastructure.

He said Pakistan People’s Party will hold a public meeting in Lyari on 26th of this month that will be attended by former President and Co-chairman of the PPP.
