Govt legislating to curb organised crime: Qadir Baloch
Minister for States says Pakistan has been the vanguard of drug prevention and is committed to the cause
Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch says the government is taking legislative steps against organised crimes.
He stated this while addressing a high level plenary meeting of 13th UN Crime Prevention Conference in Qatar.
The minister said there is a need for a crime-prevention and justice policies to promote rule of law and become an engine for the sustainable development.
The minister said Pakistan has been the vanguard of drug prevention and is fully committed to its cause.
He said Pakistan is party to all international conventions on drug control and it has taken effective legal and practical drug control measures.
