In Occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested a delegation of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami.

The delegation was going to express solidarity with the family of Dr Manan Wani.

On the Other hand, in a statement the All Parties Hurriyet Conference and the patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement have strongly condemned the fresh arrest spree and night raids by Indian troops in Kupwara.

Meanwhile, complete shutdown will be observed tomorrow in Srinagar, Baramula, Pulwama, Shopian, Islamabad and Gandarbal against the fourth phase of so called local bodies’ elections in the territory.

Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.

The leadership has urged people to stage total boycott of the sham elections.

Strict restrictions have been imposed across the territory by the Indian forces to make the election drama a success.
