Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz says the government is taking all possible steps to bring reforms in the system to achieve speedy progress in the country.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the past regimes have created immense problems in many institutions, and incumbent government is trying to resolve those issues.

Commenting on load shedding in Karachi, he said the areas in which people are not paying electricity bills, are facing interruption in power supply. 

He said the people of Karachi are enjoying cheaper electricity as compared to other parts of the country.

He said NEPRA has been asked not to increase power tariff.
