Palestine has called upon the United Nations to cover the budget of UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees.                

The demand came when Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party discussed the aid cut by the United States to the UN agency.                                                

At the opening session of party`s meeting, Mahmoud Abbas said Palestine's relations with the United States will not be normalized unless Washington recognizes the terms of reference of peace and UN resolutions.

The party also demanded establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital as basis for a just solution to the conflict.
