Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the incumbent government has announced the first ever film policy to promote culture of the country.

She was speaking at a meeting of the Standing Committee of Senate on Information in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The Minister said PTV is state channel and representatives of all political parties are invited to its programs.

She said PTV is projecting positive image of Pakistan.

On the occasion, the officials of the Ministry for Information and Broadcasting gave a detailed briefing to the participants of the meeting.
