Sindh Government is carrying out a number of schemes to promote culture and tourism in the province.

According to official sources, the projects being carried out in Karachi in this regard include one ongoing and six new schemes. 

The ongoing scheme includes construction of auditorium and conference hall at Liaquat Memorial Library that will be completed by the end of this financial year.

The new schemes include construction of Culture , Tourism and Antiquities office complex, preservation, conservation and restoration of historical buildings of Jufel Hurst Public School and JMB Girls Secondary School and establishment of model library in Orangi Town.

The Department will also establish Sindhi Kashi Institute in the city to promote the traditional work of the province while two vehicles will also be restored that had been under use of Madr-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah.
