Govt accelerates various mega projects to overcome water shortage
Mangi Dam being constructed at a cost of over nine billion rupees.
According to official sources, Mangi Dam is being constructed at a cost of over nine billion rupees and it will be completed within three years. Quetta would get eight point one million gallon water on daily basis with the completion of this project.
Indus Water project would be completed at a cost of forty billion rupees.
Likewise, Halak dam project is also in pipeline and would be approved soon. The dam would provide three to four million gallon water daily for Quetta and its adjoining areas.
