PM and President expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the latest violation of Line of Control by the Indian forces. They paid high tributes to the martyred Pakistani soldiers . Khawaja M. Asif urges the world community to take notice of Indian provocations against Pakistan as any escalation of tension between the two nuclear armed neighbors could prove catastrophic for the whole region. Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz expressed the apprehension that the Indian actions may lead to strategic miscalculation. Marium Aurangzeb says entire Pakistani nation stands behind their valiant soldiers . Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry summoned Indian High Commissioner and deplored the increasing Indian ceasefire violations at the LoC and the Working Boundary, especially in the last two months. Pakistan is pursuing a policy of restraint, which should not be construed as a sign of weakness. Army Chief General Raheel Sharif vowed to continue to respond effectively to the Indian unprovoked firing and maintained that no stone will be left unturned to defend motherland.
