At least 7 soldiers embraced martyrdom at Bhimber sector of Line of Control in cross fire violation by Indian troops late last night. According to sources, the Indian side also suffered major causalities as a result of Pakistan's retaliatory fire.

PM expresses his profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the latest violation of Line of Control by the Indian forces.  He said that it is extremely unfortunate that Indian forces have continuously violated ceasefire agreement at LoC, in the recent days. We are fully capable of defending our soil against any aggression. He said the Indian Forces have resorted to escalating tension on LoC only to detract the world's attention from the grave human rights situation in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

He said that Pakistani troops are giving befitting response to the Indian aggression on the line of control and the working boundary. The Minister said over the last few months, India is heating up situation at the LOC and the working boundary due to some internal compulsions. He said Pakistan is using diplomatic and international forums to highlight the Indian belligerence. He said the world community should take notice of the situation as any escalation of tension between the two nuclear armed neighbors could prove catastrophic for the whole region. The Minister expressed concerns over the use of heavy weaponary by the Indian troops in the recent LOC firing. He said it is regretable that extremist elements have come to power in India which could become a source of destruction not only for their own country but for the whole region.

The Minister said Pakistani troops are giving befitting response to the Indian provocation and aggression on the line of control.

Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Barjees Tahir says Pakistan has always been desirous of peace but will reciprocate if aggression by India continues.

In an interview today, he said India in sheer perplexity due to a resilient freedom struggle in Occupied Kashmir and the landmark project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor is resorting to unprovoked aggression on the border. He said India should now accept the reality that dialogue is the ultimate solution to all disputes with Pakistan and flaring up the border situation will only add to the already strained relations between the two neighbors.

Defense analysts condemn the recent Indian aggression saying it is resorting to such acts to deflect world attention from ongoing atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

They said India also wants to divert Pakistan's attention from pursuing the development agenda including the swift implementation of multi billion dollars China Pakistan economic corridor project. They said that the world community should take notice of the Indian belligerence as any break out of conflict between the two nuclear countries will not augur well for the peace and stability of the region.
