Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has appreciated the cooperation of World Bank for completion of various development projects in Pakistan.

He was talking to a delegation of World Bank led by its Country Director Patchamuthu Illangovan who called on him in Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting, progress on implementation of various projects being executed with World Bank's assistance was reviewed.

The Minister also apprised the World Bank team about the government's reform agenda which is especially focused on reforms in the financial, insurance and banking sectors.

The Country Director World Bank appreciated the performance of the current government in introducing reforms and discussed the proposed financial assistance package to be made available to Pakistan under Finance for Growth Development Policy Credit.
