Continuous Ceasefire Violations by India- Seven soldiers martyred in unprovoked firing across the Line of Control

Pakistan lodges protest with Indian High Commissioner against the killing of soldiers
Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry summoned Indian High Commissioner deplored the increasing Indian ceasefire violations at the LoC and the Working Boundary especially during last two months. This belligerent attitude of Indian occupation forces was a serious threat to the regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation. Pakistan is pursuing a policy of restraint, which should not be construed as a sign of weakness.
Ishaq Dar appreciates the cooperation of World Bank for completion of various development projects in Pakistan
During the meeting with a delegation of World Bank, the progress on implementation of various projects being executed with World Bank's assistance was reviewed. The Minister also apprised the World Bank team about the government's reform agenda which is especially focused on reforms in the financial, insurance and banking sectors. The Country Director World Bank appreciated the performance of the current government in introducing reforms and discussed the proposed financial assistance package to be made available to Pakistan under Finance for Growth Development Policy Credit.
Government decides to keep prices of gas unchanged for domestic consumers
The Government has rejected the summary of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority for the increase of gas prices. Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said OGRA has been informed about this decision accordingly. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had made it clear that no increase will be made in gas prices for the domestic consumers.
The Super Moon sighted in Pakistan tonight after sixty-eight years
According to Pakistan Standard Time, the moon was sighted at 06:52 PM. The moon was bigger and brighter because it was at the closest distance from the earth. General public has been advised to remain careful for three days onwards from today on the shore. The people can experience such a brighter super moon again on 25th of November in 2034.
Iran and China have signed an agreement to hold joint military drills
According to AP, Iran and China have signed an agreement to hold joint military drills and cooperate in fighting terrorism. The agreement was signed between Iranian Defense Minister Gen. Hossein Dehghan and his Chinese counterpart Chang Wanquan in Tehran. The two sides have upgraded their military ties in recent years and naval ships of each country are regularly visiting other's ports.
Chinese tells US cooperation is the only choice for relations between the world's two largest economies
Chinese President Xi Jinping has reaffirmed the importance of relations with the United States. In a telephonic conversation with US President-elect Donald Trump today underlining potential in China-U.S. cooperation, he said economic cooperation is the "only correct choice" for world's two powers. In a statement, President-elect Donald Trump thanked President Xi for his well-wishes on his election.
