The World Food Program (WFP) has announced to award monthly stipends to girl students of Khyber Agency for increasing female literacy ratio in the agency.

Official sources told Radio Pakistan Peshawar Correspondent that one thousand rupees monthly stipend will be awarded to girl students enrolled in government middle and high schools.

The sources said about three thousand girl students having 85% attendance will benefit from the program.

Biometric attendance system will also be installed in girl’s schools for this purpose.
