Anti-polio drive to begin across country from Monday
A three-day anti-polio drive will begin in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK on Monday.
More than six point six million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio vaccine in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
During the campaign, over two million children will be administered anti-polio drops in thirty districts of Balochistan.
In Muzaffarabad, more than one hundred and twenty thousand children will be anti-polio drops.
In Gilgit Baltistan, over two hundred and thirty six thousand children will be administered anti polio vaccine drops.
Polio teams will also available at railway stations, bus stands and public places to ensure that every child gets the vaccine.
A three-day anti-polio campaign to vaccinate the children under five years of age will also start in four districts of Punjab on Monday.
According to a spokesman of Punjab Health Department, the campaign will be held in the districts of Multan, Khanewal, Hafizabad and Rawalpindi.
