Indian political parties settling scores over sufferings of Kashmiris
In occupied Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has criticized both Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party said that they are settling political scores with each other over sufferings of the Kashmiris.
Addressing a gathering in Srinagar, the APHC Chairman said Congress, which has ruled India for most of the period since 1947, is responsible for the creation of the Kashmir dispute.
He said the posture of the Congress party over the issue of release of political prisoners in the Valley is condemnable. Congress even secretly hanged Muhammad Afzal Guru to score political point over BJP.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that the irony is that after being out of power, now some of the Congress leaders express resentment over Guru’s hanging. He termed it as sheer hypocrisy.
