Countrywide anti-polio drive begins from Monday
About 35.5 million children up to the age of five years will be administered anti polio drops
A three day anti polio campaign begins across the country from Monday.
According to the Prime Minister's polio monitoring and coordination cell, about 35.5 million children up to the age of five years will be administered anti polio drops during the drive.
About eighty thousand teams will administer polio drops to the children at their doorsteps.
Another nine thousand teams will be deputed at fixed centers and four thousand teams will cover points for the vaccination of children in transit.
District authorities have been asked to ensure deployment of vaccination teams at each health facility.
