Langay Khan was a baron of Multan during the last days of Mughal era that made this garden on 112 Kanal land for satisfaction of his personal interest. There were trees and plants of fruits here. There were baradari, showers and beautiful routes. In English rule a civil hospital was built at its half part. Then chanab club, ladies club, guide house, MDA and offices of water works were also constructed here. A library was also built in place of baradari at the south west corner of garden. Now langay khan garden constructed to a limited area and shows a picture of desolation and destruction.
