Rs 65b allocated in budget to improve law and order: Murad
Sindh Finance Minister says salaries of Sindh Police have been enhanced taking them at par with Punjab police.
Sindh Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah says sixty-five billion rupees have been allocated in the new budget to improve law and order in the province.
Addressing the post budget conference in Karachi on Sunday, he said salaries of the Sindh Police have been enhanced taking them at par with Punjab police.
He said two hundred thirteen billion rupees have been earmarked for development in the province.
The Minister said one hundred and forty-four billion rupees have been allocated for education sector while fifty-seven billion rupees for the health sector.
Murad Ali Shah said tax rate has been reduced from fifteen to fourteen percent in the province.
