Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said government attaches high priority to provision of resources to the armed forces for the defence and security of the country and the nation.

He said this while chairing a meeting to review matters related to financial requirements of Pakistan Air Force in Islamabad on Friday.

The Minister praised PAF’s instrumental role in the ongoing operations Zarb-e-Azb and Raddul Fasad.

He said the improved security situation in the country has attracted a number of international companies and investors to explore business opportunities in Pakistan which augurs well for economic well-being of the country.

Vice Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Asad Lodhi briefed the Finance Minister on the financial aspects of PAF's on-going and future projects.
