Pakistan and Indonesia have reaffirmed commitment to continue strengthening bilateral relations in diverse fields. 

The resolve came during the first meeting of Bilateral Consultative Forum between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan held in Jakarta.     

Pakistani delegation was led by Additional Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Asia Pacific) Syed Zulfiqar Gardezi and the Indonesian side was led by Director General for Asia Pacific and African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Desra Percaya.

The meeting reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations including political, defence, security, economy and consular matters.

Both sides agreed to hold the second round meeting of Bilateral Consultative Forum in Pakistan next year.
