Section 144 imposed in Punjab
The order takes effect today and would remain in force till 25th July.
Punjab Government has imposed Section 144 in the province except districts of Okara, Bhakkar, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Lodhran and Bahawalnagar to prevent disturbance of public peace and tranquility during Azad Kashmir elections.
Under the order issued by the provincial Home Department, carrying and display of all kinds of weapons, aerial firing, assembly of more than five persons and taking out of rallies and processions after victory have been banned.
The order takes effect today and would remain in force till 25th of this month.
