Judicial system to be developed on modern lines: CJ LHC
The Chief Justice emphasized upholding merit during trial of cases without any discrimination.
Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah has said judicial system will be improved and developed on modern lines with a view to make judiciary an institution for provision of speedy justice.
He was speaking at a reception hosted in his honour by Rawalpindi High Court Bar Association on the occasion of his first visit to Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench after taking oath of the office.
The Chief Justice emphasized upholding merit during trial of cases without any discrimination right from lower judiciary level. He said that IT networking has been made functional from district to provincial level to ensure transparent hearing of all cases.
He said the process of accountability in the judiciary has been started.
