Nearly half million children to face starvation in Nigeria: UNICEF

The United Nations Children's Agency has warned that nearly a half million children will face starvation in north eastern Nigeria next year.
In a statement, UNICEF executive director Anthony Lake said eighty thousand children will die if they do not get treatment in the humanitarian crisis created by Boko Haram.
He said large areas of Borno state are completely inaccessible to any kind of humanitarian assistance.
