Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will bring socio-economic uplift in the country.      

In an interview, he said various projects of roads linkage, establishment of new hospitals and educational institutions are underway in less developed areas of Balochistan.      

The Minister said various road projects are also in progress in Gilgit-Baltistan as part of CPEC which will enhance road connectivity.         

He said eying the importance of CPEC , many countries of the region are aspirant to become part of the mega project.       

Ahsan Iqbal said the incumbent government is going to establish public universities at district level to ensure access of the students in higher education.
