Over 150 education projects being implemented in Sindh
The government aims to increase enrolment, reopen closed schools and improve facilities at schools.
In Sindh, over 150 schemes costing over 37 billion rupees are being carried out across the province in education sector to enhance girls enrolment, reopen closes schools, improving standard of the education and ensuring basic amenities at the educational institutes in the province.
Our Karachi correspondent reports that over 900 schools are being upgraded from primary to the middle schools. Girl enrolment is being enhanced by reopening 400 closed schools through rural support programme.
Education department officials informed Radio Pakistan that besides ensuring the provision of basic facilities from primary to higher level educational institutions in Sindh, the computer education has also begun at middle school level in the province.
