General elections 2013 were fairest in country's history: Rashid
Information Minister says election tribunals have already heard seventy percent of election complaints.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said general elections 2013 were the fairest and transparent in the country's history.
Talking to PTV, he said rigging in polling should not be negatively portrayed as countries, like United States, have also been witnessing rigging.
To a question about NADRA's report regarding rigging in NA-125, he said the report is based on only five polling stations from where PTI Hamid Khan got majority. Pervaiz Rashid said election tribunals have already heard seventy percent of election complaints.
