Prime Minister to visit Jacobabad- Nawaz Sharif is expected to announce development schemes, health cards, and other beneficial packages for the people
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will visit Jacobabad today. Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz Sindh President Babu Sarfaraz Jatio told Radio Pakistan Larkana Correspondent that Prime Minister will address a public gathering. He said it is expected that Prime Minister will announce development schemes, health cards, and other beneficial packages for the masses.
Meanwhile, the Senate was informed that the government always facilitates timely completion of projects. Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal told the House during question hour that any delay in project implementation is pointed out to the sponsoring ministry to remove bottle necks and speed up project implementation. Rail based mass transport systems are being established in all the four provinces under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Later, while addressing the Annual Sports Gala of Imperial International School and College in Islamabad, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says Vision 2025 aims to put Pakistan in top 25 economies by 2025.

The vision of Prime Minister is to give development projects to the country in order to facilitate the people of the country. The main focus is being given to development projects in Balochistan to compensate the sense of deprivation of the people of that province. Meanwhile, Military rules out compromise on Jadhav- Corps Commanders' Conference reiterates its resolve not to make any compromise on anti-state elements.
Peace talks on Afghanistan begin in Moscow
A peace conference on Afghanistan begins in Russian capital Moscow today. A number of countries, including Pakistan, China, India, Iran, and Central Asian States have been invited to the conference. Additional Foreign Secretary Tasneem Aslam will lead the Pakistani delegation at the conference. Earlier, China, Iran, Pakistan, India and Afghanistan participated in the last meeting of the Russian-sponsored talks that took place in February, former Soviet Central Asian states have been invited to attend Friday’s meeting for the first time. The United States was also invited to the event but Washington turned it down, saying it was not informed of the agenda beforehand and was unclear of the meeting’s motives.
