Sindh Assembly passes 3 resolutions
Session adjourned till tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
Sindh Assembly has passed three resolutions, including a resolution condemning the abolition of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council by Federal Health Department, removal of all illegal water courses on different canals of the province and establishment of institutes in prisons to impart training of various skills to the inmates of these prisons.
These resolutions were presented by MPA Dr. Mahesh Malani, MPA Taimur Talpur and MPA Erum Farooqi.
Earlier, speaking on a point of order, the MQM Parliamentary leader in the Assembly Faisal Ali Sabzwari protested that Protection of Pakistan Ordinance has been implemented in the country and the arrested workers of MQM are being detained for 90 days. He demanded to present the challan of arrested workers in courts instead of detaining them without any case.
He said that 45 worker of MQM are missing at the moment and dead bodies of six of these persons have been found.
Replying to the point of order, Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon said Governor Sindh, who is the representative of Federal Government and belongs to MQM, should raise voice on this issue to the Federal Government.
