President vows to preserve cultural heritage
Mamnoon Hussain urges need for promoting civilizational linkages between Pakistan and South Korea.
President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government is keen to preserve and develop ancient cultural heritage to promote interfaith harmony and develop tourism in the country.
He said this while talking to Secretary General Gandhara Arts and Culture Association Park Kyo Soon in Islamabad on Monday. He said Pakistan has a rich Buddhist archaeological heritage, which it has preserved and protected zealously.
The President emphasized the need for further strengthening the civilizational linkages between Pakistan and Korea.
Secretary General Gandhara Arts and Culture Association appreciated various steps and initiatives being taken by the government to preserve and promote the rich cultural and religious heritage of Gandhara in Pakistan.
