Pakistan-Korea Investment Cooperation Forum held in Islamabad discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.

The forum pondered upon ways to expend bilateral trade and enhance investment in Pakistan.

Addressing the Forum, South Korean Prime Minister said his country looks forward to enhancing bilateral trade relations with Pakistan in different sectors.

He said bilateral trade volume between the two countries has reached to $ 1.3 billion, which can be further enhanced by boosting mutual trade.

He appreciated the present government's pro-business policies and hoped these will lead to economic growth in the country. He said Korean companies are having world class equipment in infrastructure sector and assured the help of his country to Pakistan in this sector.

Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif on the occasion said that economic and trade relations with Korea would be of extreme importance for the present government.
