In Sri Lanka, the parliament today passed a no-confidence motion against newly appointed Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and his government. The latest move has further depened the political crisis in the country.

Earlier, Supreme Court suspended the president's move of dissolving the parliament and ordered to restore the Parliament yesterday.
