“India should end its blatant human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir”
September 14, 2021

Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal (IR Expert):The international human rights organizations including Amnesty International and others in their reports have exposed Indian atrocities and massive genocide committed by Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Two days Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi along with National Security Advisor and Human Rights Minister has presented a dossier clearly mentioning grave human rights violation in the occupied valley. Pakistan should continue exposing cruel Indian face at the international level.

Dr. Khurram Iqbal (IR Expert):In the last three years or so, number of international bodies including the United Nations, Amnesty international and Human Rights Watch have categorically been condemning the human rights violations committed by the Indian government in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The global conscious seems to be wakening in support of plight of the Kashmiris. But unfortunately, Indian government is not taking these reports seriously and making lame excuses to justify its illegal occupation and atrocities in the valley. There is an increased tendency of sidelining the political voices of the valley. The policies of the BJP government in the constituencies are being drawn on the size of the territory that will benefit the Hindu community. The Hindu dominated areas are larger in size in the valley. The BJP government has intentionally sidelined the mainstream political parties of the occupied valley.

Lt Gen (Retd) Raza Muhammad Khan (Defense Analyst): US Secretary of State in a statement has stated that the Pak-US relations will depend on the situation and developments in Afghanistan. In my opinion, the statement is completely irresponsible as bilateral relations are dependent on the situation of another country. In the United States, Republicans are blaming Democrats and Vice versa for humiliating defeat of United States in Afghanistan. The American think tanks also admitted that Afghan war was the big mistake. The previous Afghan regime being under the influence of India always blamed Pakistan, whereas the world is well aware of the fact that peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in the best national interest of Islamabad. There is a need to make joint efforts to combat terrorism from the world rather than blaming each other. The presence of ISIS in Afghanistan is a big threat not only to Afghanistan but to the neighboring countries and even to the world as well. The world must realize that if there is anarchy and chaos in Afghanistan then it will again become the hub of terrorism.

Dr. Rasool Bakhsh Raees (IR Expert):We have to look at the attitude of global powers structure which at this point of time is not in favor of the government of Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan. Especially the western countries who have been defeated by Taliban are still unable to forget the humiliated defeat in the hands of Taliban. Moreover, the western countries have no stake in the war-torn country so these countries may not be the part of rebuilding in Afghanistan. On the other hand, The Taliban government is urging the world community to support Afghanistan to avert any humanitarian crisis. It is the time for the world organizations and WHO to support the Afghan people in terms of food, health facilities and other needs, otherwise millions of Afghan people will be badly affected.
