On the occasion of Independence Day, the President has approved to confer 'Pakistan Civil Awards' on 116 individuals from Pakistan as well as foreign nationals for showing excellence and courage in their respective fields.

Of these, Hilal-I-Pakistan award will be conferred to four, Hilal-I-Shuja't to one, Hilal-I-Imtiaz to four, Hilal-I-Quaid-I-Azam to one, Sitara-I-Pakistan to three, Sitara-I-Shuja'at to six, Sitara-I-Imtiaz to twenty four, President's award for Pride of Performance to twenty six, Sitara-I-Quaid-I-Azam to eight, Tamgha-I-Shuja'at to eleven, Tamgha-I-Imtiaz to twenty seven, and Tamgha-I-Khidmat to one. 

The investiture ceremony of these awards will take place on Pakistan Day, 23rd March next year.
