Minister for Railways, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the government is taking concrete steps to check price hike and inflation and the issues would be overcome soon.
Talking to a private news channel, he said there is no threat to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government from the opposition as both PML-N and PPP would continue to support the democratic system.
Replying to a question, Sheikh Rashid said there is need to strengthen the NAB laws in order to expedite the process of accountability against the corrupt elements.
About the Karachi Circular Railways and the ML-1, the Minister said the government is bound to complete the projects within the time frame as per the Supreme Court's orders.
Sheikh Rashid said the federal government would help in restoration of Karachi Circular Railways in the larger public interest despite that it is Sindh government's subject.
