Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra says education plays an important role in creating a prosperous and tolerant society.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a school in Bara, Khyber Agency on Wednesday, he said that more than one hundred schools have been established in tribal areas with the financial support of European Union.
The Governor said more than four hundred teachers have been trained to provide quality education to the tribal students.
He said that the government is taking concrete steps to enhance literacy ration in FATA.
Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said that about two hundred thousand out of school children have been brought back into the regular education system.
