PM directs parliamentarians to expedite work on all ongoing development projects
A delegation of PML-N MNAs from Sargodha Division called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Islamabad on Wednesday. Development projects and matters pertaining to the respective constituencies of MNAs were discussed during the meeting. The Prime Minister said the parliamentarians should especially focus on development and welfare schemes in those constituencies, which have not been at par with other constituencies in terms of development. Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Minister of State for Religious Affairs Pir Muhammad Amin ul Hasnat Shah, Minister of State Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, Sardar Muhammad Shafqat Hayat Khan, Malik Muhammad Uzair Khan, Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, Obaid ullah Khan, Abdul Majeed Khan, Dr. Muhammad Afzal Khan Dhandla and Shahzadi Umar Tiwana were present during the meeting.

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Marvi Memon has said that the government has increased BISP budget from seventy billion to 120 billion rupees. She said this while speaking on point of order in the Lower House. Marvi Memon said that fresh survey of BISP is underway and sophisticated technology. She said a desk base pilot project was started to collect data in four selected districts of the country which include Harripur, Sukkur, Nasirabad and Bahawalpur, where 7,11,000 households were counted in the survey.
