Seoul to host int'l forum to promote arctic countries' interest in East Asian region
Seoul will host the biggest international forum on the Arctic next year to seek ways to promote arctic countries' interest in the East Asian region.
According to the foreign ministry, South Korea announced the hosting of the conference, in December 2018.
The Arctic Circle is an international organization intended to facilitate multilateral dialogue on issues facing the Arctic.
The organization's biannual forum is the biggest of all international conferences on the North Pole, bringing together around 2,000 government officials and experts from around the world.
