On the fourth day of third and final cricket Test against Pakistan in Dominica, West Indies will resume their first innings at overnight score of 218 for 5 on Saturday.
Pakistan scored 376 in its first innings. Azhar Ali with 127, Misbah ul Haq 59, Babar Azam 55 and Sarfraz Ahmed with 51 runs were the main scorers. For Pakistan, Yasir Shah took three wickets whereas Mohammad Abbas and Azhar Ali grabbed one wicket each.
PCB chief clarifies India series statement
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan has clarified that his recent statement on agreeing to play series in India was related to the contract signed between the PCB and the BCCI in 2014, according to which six bilateral series had been agreed over an eight-year period.
Shahzad allowed to return home
The Pakistan Cricket Board on the request forwarded by the team management has allowed opener Ahmed Shehzad to return home from the ongoing tour of West Indies where Pakistan are playing the last Test against the home team.
Ahmed Shehzad had made a request to the team management to return home from the ongoing tour due to his mother’s illness and birth of his first child.
The opening batsman will now join the team in England for the ICC Champions Trophy.
4th Islamic solidarity games kick-off in Baku
The 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games were officially opened by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a spectacular ceremony in the Baku Olympic Stadium on Friday night. Pak hockey team to play three-match series with Ireland
Pakistan Hockey Team would be playing a three-match series with Ireland next month prior to the World Hockey League (WHL). Talking to APP, Secretary of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Shahbaz Ahmad said the federation wants to give players maximum international exposure prior to the WHL scheduled to be held in England next month.
