Kuwait keen to acquire Pakistanisâ€™ services in various fields
Kuwaiti Speaker says major investment would land in Pakistan in coming days.
Speaker Kuwait National Assembly Marzouq Ali M. Al-Ghanim has said his country is keen to acquire services of doctors, engineers, educationists and skilled labour from Pakistan.
He was talking to Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and the members of the Pakistan-Kuwait Parliamentary Friendship Group during a reception hosted in his honour in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The Kuwaiti Speaker said solution of visa related issues to Pakistanis desirous of working in Kuwait has been prioritized by his government and a proposal for establishment of Visa issuing authority in Embassy of Kuwait in Islamabad was also under consideration.
He informed that Kuwaiti Minister for Interior will soon visit Pakistan to discuss the modalities in this regard.
The Kuwaiti Speaker said major investment would land in Pakistan in coming days through Kuwait Investment Company in petroleum, power and manufacturing sectors.
He also appreciated the support of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and GCC countries in the wake of Yemeni crisis.
