Conviction rate in corruption cases increases to 76 %: Chairman NAB
Says this was made possible due to NAB’s proactive National Anti-Corruption Strategy.
Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhary says conviction rate in corruption cases has increased to about 76 percent due to NAB's proactive National Anti-Corruption Strategy.
He was chairing NAB`s monthly coordination meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Chairman said the Bureau received about three hundred and forty three thousand complaints from individuals and organizations out of which it authorized 11, 581 complaint verification, 7587 inquiries, 3846 investigations and filed over twenty eight hundred corruption references in accountability courts.
