Suicide attack in Iraq claims 5 lives
Several explosives-laden vehicles were used to target an army base in Ramadi.
In Iraq, five security personnel were killed and eleven wounded in a suicide attack carried out by Islamic State group fighters in the city of Ramadi on Monday.
According to sources, the attackers targeted an army base in Ramadi with several explosives-laden vehicles driven by suicide bombers and gunmen who fired on soldiers.
The forces killed all the attackers and destroyed all the car bombs.
Earlier this year, Iraqi army regained control of Ramadi and in recent weeks has been battling to retake Fallujah, another city in the province, from IS jihadists.
