Turkish President rules out immediate end to year-old state of emergency

In Turkey, President Tayyip Erdogan has ruled out an immediate end to the year-old state of emergency in the country imposed after a failed coup.
Addressing a function in Ankara, he said the emergency rule will not be lifted untill Turkey needs to fight against terrorism.
However, he said lifting of the emergency rule is possible in the near future.
