Rs 3 bln to be spent on agriculture sector in KP
The projects included provision of small agricultural equipment to 11,500 farmers.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government is spending more than three billion rupees on development of agriculture sector in the current fiscal year.
Official sources told our Peshawar correspondent that the amount will be spent on seventeen ongoing and twenty-one new projects.
The projects included provision of small agricultural equipment to eleven thousand and five hundred farmers through Model Farms Center across the province.
Similarly, one hundred and sixty-three thousand acre barren land in Dera Ismail Khan and Tank will be irrigated under Gomal Zam Command Area Development Project.
