Pakistan Railways is going to upgrade its network in the country at a cost of 870 billion rupees.

This was stated by Railways' senior officer Muhammad Ashfaq Khattak, while talking to media in Lahore on Thursday, along with a 45-member delegation from China.

He said the upgradation work of important Railway lines from Lahore to Multan, Nawab Shah to Rohri and Peshawar to Rawalpindi will be started soon.
