Sri Lanka to hold parliamentary elections in 100 days
president Maithripala Sirisen says elections will be held by the end of April, after implementation of his ambitious 100-day political reform programme.
Sri Lanka's new president Maithripala Sirisen has announced to hold fresh parliamentary elections with in hundred days.
He made the announcement at a meeting of his new cabinet in Colombo.
He said the elections will be held by the end of April, after implementation of his ambitious hundred-day political reform programme.
