Ongoing developmental projects to be completed in time: Majeed
AJK PM asks government departments to fulfill their responsibilities.
The AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has assured that the ongoing developmental projects would be completed in time and no impediment in this connection would be tolerated.
He was addressing a meeting regarding development projects of Bagh and Rawalakot cities in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday.
He said he would make surprise visits to inspect the developmental projects.
The Prime Minister directed the concerned officials to plan the water supply and sewerage system of the cities in view of the population pressure. He asked the government departments to fulfill their responsibilities.
He urged the concerned department to ensure maximum tree plantation during the rainy season which is imperative to combat environmental pollution and soil erosion.
The Director Bagh city development project on this occasion gave briefing to the Prime Minister and told that Rs. 12,107.90 million have been allocated for 52 development projects while work is in progress on various development projects at a cost of Rs 10,507.67 million.
The Project Director City Development Rawalakot Brig (Retd) Altaf on this occasion told that 6 city development projects out of 19 have been completed.
